Kathryn Gilliam is an honors graduate of the University of Nebraska and The University of Texas Health Science Center. She is also a two-time graduate for the Bale Doneen Preceptorship for Cardiovascular Disease Prevention for Healthcare Practitioners. Kathryn is a fellow of the American Academy of Oral Systemic Health (AAOSH), Director of Education for Oral Cancer Cause, and is a member of the board of the Houston Component of the Oral Cancer Foundation.

Kathryn is a practicing clinician, an author, speaker, consultant and Productive Dentist Academy faculty member and coach. Through her coaching, she empowers dental professionals to elevate their standard of care with protocols based on sound scientific principles. Under Kathryn’s guidance, dental hygienists become oral healthcare practitioners who powerfully impact the lives and health of their patients. The results are healthier patients, higher production and re-energized teams. She likes to say, “We’re not just cleaning teeth, we’re saving lives.”

She has published continuing education courses and articles that have been featured in The Journal of the Academy of General Dentistry, AGD Impact, Dental Economics, RDH Magazine, Dentistry Today, Modern Hygienist, and Hygiene Mastery Magazine.
